Aigaion tavern is the rebirth of the old Aigaion Tavern mostly know to those that were having fun back in the days.
We drew inspiration with all things familiar to us and our Greek roots. Sun, olive trees and some magic from the Aegean Sea.
The logo is formed by the graphic representation of all the above elements.
The final result has a combination of simplified icons which are open for interpretation, as one could see something different from another.
The old Aigaion Tavern’s culture was known by its satirical reaction to the political scene at the time, during a visit before the renovation we discovered a pile of old newspapers that the former owner was collecting. We figured that this place has a story that goes beyond what the eye can see and that the essence of its existence was rooted to what makes one feel Greek.
