Designing for an Egg brand has been one of our studio’s dreams ever since we decided to be related to eggs forever. Vasilico Eggs is a local brand that thinks beyond their egg box and they wish to create brand loyalty for a commodity product.
We wanted to create a package that communicates the brand’s values but at the same time, make people smile. Focusing on the different egg sizes we created a series of packages for S-XL egg cartons. On each size the relative ratio of the egg and the chicken changes to create a playful result.
With the opportunity to print in the inlid of the package, we used that space to emphasise and empower the brand’s culture and create a direct dialogue with the consumer with links directing them to Vasilico’s blog. #knowyoureggs
With all the packages being in the brand’s signature terracotta color, we wanted the Free Range selection to stand out. A direct signal to the brand’s conscious consumer.
